I can't believe that Neil is not in the Scotland squad, forget his age because like a fine wine goalkeepers improve with age. He is deffinately in the top three of keepers in the Championship.
I was suprised and chuffed when Kevin Blackwell signed him at the 11th hour last August 2004. He has been an inspirational signing for Leeds, he can be heard all round Elland Road shouting at his back four, he certainly commands his area.
Great at saving penalties, he is a great keeper, his injury time save from Readings Kitson at the Madejski stadium was testimony to his ability.
When Neil retires from the game he is going to open supermarkets as a Paul Robinson (Neighbours) lookalike.

Some fans would say that Gary Kelly's best days are behind him and i would tend to agree. It is frustrating watching Kelly as i would probably describe him as a hoofer rather than a footballer. Rather than playing the ball to feet and keeping possession Gary tends to hoof the ball long and high.
His defending is so-so (his balls-up in defence contributed to Sheffield United equalising). To me when i think of a full back i think "Mel Sterland" runing up the line and putting in a sublime cross for the strikers, if only Gary, if only!!.
Can't really comment on this guy as i have not really seen much of him, he has been out injured more than he has played.
He is a commited player but not the greatest left back in the world. I think Tony Dorigo today would still be a better player.
He got back into the side this season after some poor displays from Dan Harding however after only a handful of games he lost his place. His absence from the Scotland squad is down to his lack of ability and and not down to the fact that he looks like West Brom's Steve Watson.

Paul Butler, the current captain of the side. He is not captain because of his footballing talent, it is because he is from Manchestor. All big gob loud mouths come from Manchestor but to be fair he is a City fan and not scum.
A likeable guy, not the quickest centre half in the world but totaly commited to the cause. What endears him to the Elland Road faithfull is his commitment and he never gives anything less than 100% when wearing a Leeds shirt.
Some fans like him, some hate him....me i am a Gregan fan, but not as a centre-half which is his preferred position. Like Butler he is 100% comitted and lacks pace to be in the back four.
In the midfield he has a strong presence as a ball winner and he can pass it about too. He is my preferred choice to be captain but i don't make those decisions.
Allegedly he is the Leeds United champion at Trivial pursuit, only he has the answer to the question of...."Who ate all the pies?".

Super Rob Hulse was a fans favourite on day one after scoring twice on his debut against Reading.
His record for Leeds is fantastic, he is a brilliant target man and for a big lad he has great feet.
What makes him a quentissential forward is that he is great in the box as some of his goals this season have proved.
His girlfreind must watch him as she said that he was great in the box???.
Eddie Lewis the yank, he has played reasonable so far this season giving the team a bit of width on the left.
He has scored a couple of important goals this season, none more important than the briliant free-kick which brought us level away at Burnley.
He is a good crosser of the ball too, his deep cross from the wing to Rob Hulse (Derby (h)) was sublime.
The only thing that he lacks is "ELECTRIC" pace which all good wingers need.

Danny Pugh, could'nt make it at scum so he joined a bigger and better team.
He had a blistering start to last season scoring a lot of goals for a left back!. This season his appearances have been curtailed with the arrival of Harding.
He is a commited player and probably the fans choice to command the left berth.
Strangely looking with the longest face in Leeds United history beating Joe Jordan by 5mm.
Frazer, is a good lad. He always gives a good account of himself when he gets in the side. A right back by trade he usually when called upon plays right midfield.
Unable to oust Kelly for the right back slot, he is the fans favourite to play in that position. He has speed and can hit a ball. The goal that he got against Sheff Utd at home was real premiership class.
His only problem is "Huckerby" disease, an affliction that causes you to run with your head down so you can't see where you are going!.

Well what can i say about this guy, no superlatives thats what. If you combine David Blunkett with Dr Steven Hawking then you have got something close to resembling Gylfi.
There is a rumour going around that when he has had a reasonable game it has not been him in the no:16 shirt but Mark Owen from Take That.
A fan spotted Gylfi and notified Kevin Blackwell.....it must have been a Cardiff fan having a laugh.
Don't let the scruffy "Claude Greengrass" persona cloud your judgement of Shaun Derry as appearances can be deceptive.
The worst dressed player at the club is head and shoulders above everyone in the running for player of the season (at time of writing 1/11/05).
He is running the midfield vertually on his own. I for one groaned a sigh of dismay when we bought him from Crystal Palace, but Derry has put in some brilliant performances for Leeds.
Were it not for the fact that he was born in Nottingham, Shaun Derry would walk into the Faroh Islands first team!!!!.

I don't like to berate Leeds players but if polled i believe that Ian Moore would come out on top as the current worst player in the squad.
From what i have heard and read this forward is chocolate fireguard material, but to be fair he has never been given a long run in the side he has only played cameo roles.
But from what we have seen on display it is evidant as to why he does not get a long run.
I will give him credit where it is due though, he at least tries 100%.
Another Leeds fan, Richard Cresswell has joined us from Preston.
He scored two vital goals against Rotherham early on to kill off the game and earn Leeds victory.
Looks a good player, has good ball control and gives 110%.
When Richard is not playing football he can be seen in Hollywood working as a Harrison Ford stunt double.

Killa is in my opinion the best centre half at the club and he is still young and learning.
His biggest assett is his pace. Many times he has been challenging for a 50/50 ball and his speed has been able to get him into position to clear the danger, especially on the floor he will win any 50/50 challenge.
He has matured better since last season where his immaturity shone through in the guise of a daft "Loo brush" style haircut.
Robbie Blake who signed from Birmingham is the younger brother of former United defender Noel Blake.
He has yet to fire on all cylinders but when he does we can expect some magical moments from him.
We saw some glimpses in the Southampton game where he scored a brilliant curler from the edge of the area and then in the second half he hit a storming free kick which unfortunatley hit the woodwork.
And finally i have saved the best till last, only so i can include a picture of him with my son....David Healy.
....Sorry, David Healy is not my son the one in the blue shirt is. My lad Harry.

David Healy, another former Preston player is a brilliant striker of the ball.
Where Hulse is an excellant box player David is great outside the box where he has scored some great goals from range.
He can make anything happen and is a joy to watch.
My favourite of his goals was the one aginst QPR at home last season where he nonchalantly guided the ball over the keepers head from a right wing cross.

Liam Miller is on a a loan deal from Scumchester Rovers unitl the end of the season.
He had a good debut against Preston, he has two good feet and played it neat with the odd bit of flash thrown in.
With his white Nike boots and short cropped hair he is a deadringer for David Healy.

This is our right-sided midfielder Joel Griffiths who is an Australian international. I have yet to see him play so i can not really comment.
